Emitter in Metallgehäusen eignen sich für die Verwendung in kommerziellen/industriellen Anwendungen, bei denen die Glaslinse hervorragende optische Eigenschaften besitzen sollte. Die Emitter in Kunststoffgehäusen werden ebenfalls für kommerzielle/industrielle Anwendungen eingesetzt, wenn eine konstante Infrarotlichtquelle benötigt wird.

Infrarotsensoren, Encoder Detectors & Transmissive

Bei Encoder-Detektoren handelt es sich um monolithische ICs, die sich aus zwei benachbarten Dioden sowie aus Verstärkern und Schmitt-Trigger-Ausgangsstufen zusammensetzen. Foto-Darlington-Detektoren besitzen einen nichtlinearen hoch verstärkten Analogausgang. Opto-Schmitt-Detektoren bestehen aus einer Fotodiode, einem Verstärker, einem Spannungsregler, einem Schmitt-Trigger und einem NPN-Transistor mit verschiedenen Ausgangskonfigurationen.
